Can we retire comfortably on compulsory super alone?
Q: We are a couple aged 32. We’re about to buy our first home but don’t want to neglect our retirement savings. I earn $70,000 a year and my wife earns $250,000. How much super should we have by this stage in our lives, and can we reach a comfortable retirement relying just on compulsory super? I have $70,000 in super and my wife has $150,000. – Patrick
